I'm so glad you decided to post your thoughts and am humbled to be listed as an inspiration for the share!

What's interesting to me is that with the amount of content present on Medium, and the incredibly slow speed at which readers can browse that content, added to the fact that the only real way to get paid is measured read time... it all points to following only those who we truly want to contribute our read time/money to.

On my best days I can give about 3-5 articles significant read time in my schedule. The last thing I want is for that time to end up attributed to content mill articles rather than writers putting there heart and souls into their sometimes imperfect yet incredibly passionate shares.
